That's more per month than we have sold here in the UK in a year. I think it's around 230/250 sold in the UK so far. I know there is a far bigger population in the US than the UK, but still, that's not bad for a car seen on YouTube as a complete failure by Honda and one that will never sell.

I think I read Honda’s sales goal for the Prelude is 4000 unit per year for the U.S. market. 2251 sold so far in the first 8 months of production not counting the first 9 days of August.. That averages out to about 281 Preludes per month. I wonder if Honda will reach their sales projections?

Yep… all those people who claimed that the preludes weren’t selling clearly had no idea what they were talking about. It does seem that Honda might need to tweak their algorithm for which dealerships get them, though, because dealerships here in SW Ohio are getting very few and they are selling the ones they do get fairly quickly while I have seen posts about dealerships in NV and CA that have more than one on the lot at one time…

Really interesting to see the sales data so far for USA and UK. It looks like Honda are pretty much exactly on track to reach their annual sales targets for these territories: about 4,000 in USA and 400 in the UK.

They sound like they're selling well here. The dealer I'm collecting mine from is very small independent and claims to have sold 6 alone.

400 imported for sale in the UK in 2026, and there are 110 UK Honda dealers/agents. So they need to sell 3 or 4 cars each.

Sounds like your dealer has already earned themselves a sales bonus!
