Honda said the demographics for the Prelude in Japan is 50-60 year olds. I asked a couple of Honda sales people here in my area. They said it was mostly older people interested in the Prelude. All the younger buyers are interested in the Civic Type R, Civic SI or Civic Hybrid. Not to be nosey but how many members on this forum who are interested in the Prelude are in that 50-60 year old demographic?

I don’t know how to start a poll but I am in that demographic.

I am in that demographic as well and a little bit older than the typical Japanese Prelude owners...ha! It wasn't that long ago I was riding motorcycles.

I am a senior citizen that bought a Prelude. That's the point.

Always keep in mind that Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, and Brad Pitt are some of them, too. I’m also calling for a guest appearance by the Prelude in one of their movies :)

It could not hurt! :p Product placement in movies is huge. Some car companies like BMW and Audi spend a lot of money putting their cars into movies. Movies like the 007, Mission Impossible, Bourne franchises. The Fast and Furious franchise totally helped the JDM brands.

I was not a fan of Days of Thunder and could not even tell you which brand cars were featured. Porsche was placed in both Top Gun and Maverick. Brad Pitt was great in F1. Plenty of product placements in that movie.

Famously, Lotus did not pay a penny to have the Esprit featured in at least two James Bond movies. They just parked the prototype outside the film studio and waited for the phone call!

Or remember the tons of black Lexus cars in the Men In Black movies ...
Would love to see the new Prelude in a nice Hollywood blockbuster. ❤️‍🔥
Apperently it is already in some computer games:

I'm 70, but I would like to think I'm not your average 70-year-old; most of my cars over the last 15 years have been hot hatches like the I30 N, 208 and 308 GTI, Seat Leon FR, etc. I find the Prelude, in the very short time I have had it, to be all the things I like about cars all rolled into one very attractive package, and I can even get in and out of it just fine, lol.
