I am considering a Prelude. What did you drive before your Prelude?

Nice. I don't have any digitized pictures of my bikes (pre-digital camera) and don't know where actual photos are. But, here is a brochure picture of a stunning bike I owned when living in Japan but that I could not bring back with me. An NSR250R. (http://www.nsr250.net/history_mc21.html) Now that they are > 25 years old; they can be imported, if you can find and afford one. See https://www.moto2imports.com/

Any question about why my Prelude is Red and Black!

Hi. I am considering a Prelude. I love fun driving cars. How do you like your Prelude and what did you drive prior to your Prelude? What other cars did you consider buying? How do you like your Prelude now that you have put some miles on it? What were your main reasons for buying a Prelude?
Hi. I purchased my Prelude new on September 18. My wife had bought a new Hybrid Accord Sport a month earlier and I went back to the dealer thinking I was going to purchase one in Crystal Black Pearl. When I arrived at the dealer for my appt I saw the Prelude sitting on their show room floor. My initial response was wow! It was/is a great looking sporty vehicle in white with a black roof. When the sales rep and I took her out for a drive it was great. She has a lot of pickup, handles effortlessly(I'm liking the sport mode)and is a great looking car! I drove her home that day. My trade was a Crystal Pearl Black 2016, Mustang eco boost, 6 Spd manual which I had enjoyed driving as well for 4-5 years. However, it spent more time in the garage/driveway than on the roadway
but was a beautiful car with many options. Oh the Accord I went to see...yawn was a nice sedan but I wasn't feeling it. The hybrid Prelude setup is great: I love filling the gas tank for $18-26 dollars. The wide touch screen is great. Hint: hook up your I phone using Car Play, the icons will be larger and in color and are easier to see while driving. Should you purchase one, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I only have 140 miles to go before I can use the "S" button, I can't wait.

I had no idea the car should have done a certain mileage before S+. I was certainly not told that when I purchased mine. I have only used it a few times so far, and I have only done less than 400 miles. Who told you that S+ can't be used until the car has been run in?

I didn't know that about the S+ button.
Done over 3k miles in just 6 weeks all on fantastic north yorkshire dales twisty and tight roads. Have hardly used the GR Yaris as I love driving the Prelude.
Logged into my insurance last night and upped my estimated miles on it as I just can't stop driving it.
Nobody has clearly told me it is rubbish and nobody will buy it. They must have been talking about another car!

It's fine to use S+ whenever, just standard break in period stuff. (don't rag it, unless it's a demonstrator ;))

There are only 2 kinds of cars that can cover rough terrain, a 4 by 4 or a hire car, lol.
