Will be documenting my incoming 'Racing Blue' Prelude here. Expecting to take delivery in September, already got the registration sorted...

Should be arriving day 1 as the following -

2026 Honda Prelude Advance in Racing Blue Pearl
  • Standard 19" black alloys.
  • Black Pack
  • Blue and White Two-Tone Leather
  • Illumination Pack
  • Protection Pack
  • Front grille decoration in Racing Blue Pearl
  • Rear seatback protector
  • Black door mirror covers (Gloss black, as per USDM/JDM Two-Tone trim)
  • Door visors/wind deflectors
  • H-mark black valve stem caps
Once it arrives we might have to start looking at raiding the Mugen catalogue next...

Don't forget to post pictures... :)

Nope not yet, it was originally slated for July-August due to the options I'd picked so I decided to delay it a little further to September so it rolls into the 76 plates so I could get my cheeky PR76UDE reg in. That and it gives time for some of JDM parts to arrive from Japan ready for dealer fitment (Wind deflectors, gloss black mirrors, seat protectors, valve stems). I did try a few different dealers and had a handful of test drives before pulling the trigger. Had to shop around when the first dealer I went to very disconcertingly told me the car was RWD and didn't really seem interested in any negotiation or customisation. Ended up going with a more traditional 'family business' dealership instead of one of the big chains who were far more receptive to me digging into the options and more than happy to hold the car a couple weeks for the September registration etc.

Plate certificate arrived and all the OEM parts are finally on their way, and booked in for day 1 detail, front end PPF, gloss black wrapping the roof panel, and ceramic coating. Should be everything, just now a long wait til September.

Though I did also take a look at some Mugen bits, and these mirror caps took my fancy initially. I kinda like the design and was hoping they might reduce some of the wind noise issues people mention from the mirrors. Just on further inspection it turns out they're not replacements, but instead stick on caps that go on top via double sided tape. They leave a ~6mm strip of the original mirror underneath visible, not sure if I'm convinced on them. Has anyone seen these in person? They're compatible with the Prelude and current gen Civics.
