Anyone tried to actually fit a spare in the area under the cargo bay? Would something like a T125/70R19 fit?

I certainly hope no one has tried it yet; there’s no room, and who would want to tinker around in there?

This has been mentioned but I don’t think anybody has reported getting one (or similar).

I’m considering trying it, even if it doesn’t fit in the area where the spare is supposed to be, having a spare to keep in the garage and bring on longer trips would give me peace of mind. I’m waiting on delivery of my Prelude but will measure the area when I receive it, supposed to be arriving by Friday this week.

There’s a dedicated space for the tire inflator that has an indentation meant for an actual spare tire. Not sure what you’re referring to. You literally lift the floor panel as it’s designed to.

At first, I didn't know that this extremely small and flat spare tire existed; I thought one would have to make some complicated modifications oneself—assuming such a narrow spare tire could even be bought. I would certainly put one in the trunk before a long trip, though you would then also need to carry a jack and a lug wrench at all times.

This is awesome, I really want to do some "more spicy driving" like going camping in the prelude, but the extra wheel stops me, this looks like a nice alternative.
