This is a very dumb question, I know -- but are the exterior mirrors (drivers side and passenger side) manually foldable? In other words, can I fold them in by hand if I am in a tight parking situation? Thanks!

Yes you can close them manually. Don't be shy they won't brake...

But they fold when you lock the car, and you can fold them via the button from in the car? Why would you need to do it manually, I don't get it?

What the...??? They don't automatically fold at all on the US models? That's the first difference outside of the entertainment system and driver monitoring spy cam I've heard of.

edit: Oh and y'all get remote start on the key. I'll swap the spy cam for remote start

I prefer the way it’s set up in my FK8 CTR; naturally, you can fold the mirrors in using the button inside—or, if you decide to do so while outside locking the car, simply press the lock button again within three seconds. Did I understand correctly that US models generally don't have power-folding mirrors at all?

As far as I know, yes, I looked for a walk-away lock function in the settings on mine and could not find it. I watched a US tutorial, and they definitely have it listed on screen. Why? do the mirrors fold in when you walk away? I have looked, and in the settings menu there is no setting for walk-away locking in any of the settings. It says it has it on UK cars when I ask, yet says to set Auto lock to on when there is no such setting on UK cars. So, in my opinion, unless you have found another way of activating it, you have been leaving your car unlocked.

Did not find any walk-away lock function on mine, either. Sad, would have loved to have that. If US buyers do have that function, I don't get why western Europe does not. Can't be a regulation thing (as is the over-speed beeping, which is mandatory here) , for the last two cars I owned (Lexus IS and ES) did have it.

I will be very surprised if they do believe me. I have looked at every possibility; we just don't have that setting. If you have been thinking it was locked, you have been lucky, though the immobiliser should mean the car is safe from being stolen.

Well I've only had it a day, local car thieves must be giving me a bit of a grace period.

What immobiliser? As far as I understand, the Geo Fence function in the mobile app (if that's what you are referring to) only sends you a message if the car leaves a certain radius, but it does not make it unable to move.

The immobiliser that requires the key to be in the car I'd imagine.

...also wonder why the EU versions do not have the "walk away" feature...my dealer has no explanations...already send a feed back about this and some other "oddities" to Honda EU...with (surprise, surprise)
Managed to at least work around that when parking at home (using a plug in for Home Assistant, sending a "lokk doors" when my mobile connectes to the home system.
Does the passenger mirror lower in the US version when parking reverse to see the curb?

It has a grade one Thatcham alarm and immobiliser, hence the reason my insurance premium is so low. Believe me, stealing the car will be very difficult without the correct key fob.

In the UK, it comes with both an alarm and an immobiliser, and yes, without the key would be nigh on impossible to steal. As for having these in other markets, I'm not sure, though I would be surprised if they are not included. Of course, there is still the possibility some lowlife can use a key reader laptop by your house to read the signal, so never put your keys anywhere near the front of the house or keep them in a tin or mesh pouch of some sort. They reckon at least 25 feet from the car.
