Hi everyone! I ordered the Prelude in February without a test drive—I didn't actually take it for a spin until late March—but I was 100% sure I wanted this car. It arrived at the dealership in late April, and I took delivery on May 13th. I already own a Type R in Rallye Red and wanted the BF01 in that color too; unfortunately, it’s not available in Europe. However, the Moonlight White Pearl looks great and really shows off the contours and accents to best effect!

I’m fortunate enough not to have to use it as a daily driver (it’s still summer in Germany—though everyone knows what the weather is like here otherwise), and I’ve only put about 800 miles on the clock so far. The e:HEV concept was completely new to me, and the direct comparison with the turbo Civic Type R is very, very interesting.

Here in Europe, we could order the "Sport Package," which includes the spoiler, black wheel nuts, front and rear flaps, black Honda center caps, and black "H O N D A" lettering on the front and rear. However, I find one detail odd: the Honda emblems on the front and the center caps are a dark bronze, whereas the letters at the back are deep black. I would actually prefer the emblems to be truly black, but the rear lettering to be a darkened bronze-chrome—because, as it stands, the "HONDA" lettering is practically unreadable.

That's truly a strange move. Why would they shove in an additional color if you opt for a monochromatic design? Either leave the caps in chrome (as in standard trim) or blacken them out!
(Rear lettering in matte bronze would look sick, for sure!)
