The 2026 Honda Prelude is NOT slow, just misunderstood.

That’s how it is—Honda could certainly do with selling a few more of them so they make some money and keep the service centers busy—but the e:HEV system is already well-known thanks to the Civic. The Prelude, however, is definitely going to remain a rare bird.

More standard equipment would be nice. That would help justify the msrp more. So would more power. Where did you hear about the updated hybrid system with 10% more power and better fuel economy?

It was some recent info Honda put out on future products. They pointed out the next Civic Hybrid powertrain will get more power and better FE. I remember the 10% number

I am hoping for a quick roll out if Honda does implement the improvements for the Prelude.

IIRC the revised civic system has a different physical layout and can't fit under the hood of the Prelude unfortunately.
