OEM HomeLink Mirror Retrofit (Confirmed Compatible)

When I installing this mirror I also installed comma 4 - autopilot, which also records drives on camera. I tied together both cables, added urethane tape to eliminate any squeezing sounds. So you can do same. Mirror + dashcam at once.

I understand that for somebody with no experience it can be hard. I did it with respect and carefully, because of new car :). Was well prepared by reading whole process of disassembly. Have tools like Bojo Pry/Trim removal.

For its MSRP it should have Homelink, power seats, heated steering wheel, rear collision braking. I wonder if Honda will include some of these options in future models.
They now suggest some kind of app for garage opener, but you'd need compatible receiver unit. I think it's doable for under 100 bucks(?) I'd also rather have Homelink.

I don't miss a power seat at all with my Prelude (never ever need to adjust it once it's adjusted). I guess if you had multiple drivers(?).

I worried only about lack of adjustable lumbar support but I can drive all day in the Prelude seat and I feel fine; in my Accord with power seat and adjustable lumbar my butt hurts after a few hours. But 9th gen Accord is kinda known for bad seats. Go sit in a Prelude, those seats are sublime.

Flash 2 Pass also works very well (and it has the James Bond thing going for it). It won't work with all doors without some modding though.

I have only had a couple of test drives but I did find the drivers seat was comfortable.

Okay – so how many more test rides do you need? That moment when you approach a Honda dealer and they all quickly head off for their lunch break: "Oh, not him again."
