I've run into all sorts of issues trying to carry out Confirmation the Ownership
After many attempts, followed by:
However, the most serious issue is the "Call" button on the infotainment panel:
In frustration I clicked the green call button and guess what ... it called Emergency Services!
The Police Service in Devices, Wiltshire, UK called me back after I immediately dropped the connection realising that 999 was being called. They verified that I was ok and safe (great service by the way) and that this was an issue with Honda software that had a pre-filled number of 999 999 9999 and it was not the Honda Support number. I would have expected a response to the SOS button in a genuine emergency, but not on the Confirmation of Ownership panel !
I've tried to call Honda support subsequently but the line quality to their call center is unusuable and not UK-based. I think I'll put a complaint in writing and hopefully the default number can get changed on this panel. Smacks of a software defect to me or lack of testing.
