As per the title, not another Prelude bashing review.

Unfortunately, he’s also going down the route of saying how *sooo* badly he wants a Prelude Type R. It’s played out! Plus a bit of Ford Mustang bashing—an average review!

With the Type-R being discontinued in most regions, I think a Type-R Prelude is just a pipe dream.

My bet, for the USA, Acura Integra Coupe, Type S built on the same assembly line as the CTR-derived Integra Type S in Ohio. Such a car would be consistent w/ Acura’s image and make old-time Integra fans crazy happy.

With Euro-7 coming into force at the end of November I think you're right about the likelihood of a high power model of Prelude. All manufacturers that continue to include ICE are going to have a heck of a job to meet the European emmision standards. It is remarkable that the current 2026 Prelude is Euro-6e compliant (the most stringent standard at the time) and will undoubtedly have longevity.

I like how the Youtuber compared it to a Delorean he recently drove, saying that car also had incredible looks but was underpowered as well...still everyone wants one (hmmmm, maybe the Prelude will be featured in Back to the Future Part IV)

Underpowered, I'm not sure what is meant by that. To me personally, I don't find it underpowered at all. I mean, compared to a C63 AMG, it is, but then you can say that about the vast majority of cars. Why do so many people pick on the Prelude as being "underpowered"? Why do they say that? Not that long ago, its performance would have been seen as pretty rapid; this obsession with 0-to-60 times means nothing in the real world.

I let my son, who is a "sports car enthusiast", drive the Prelude for the first time on a combination of straightline and curvy roads.
He was impressed!!! The quick response from a standing start, the way it handled on the curves had him smiling ear to ear.
He said he could hardly believe this was a EV Hybrid, especially in S+ mode!!!
