Hi everyone,

I'm taking delivery of my new Prelude next month and, to be honest, the Bose sound quality amazed me when I tried it.

However, today I've seen a comment from someone that did some OTA software update, stating than the sound quality suddenly became really bad. Now I'm very concerned because this is a highly important matter for me. Has anyone else did a software update recently and experience a loss of quality when listening to music from Apple Car Play/Android Auto ?

Many thanks!

Below is the comment I found on YouTube:
Audio system must read: The audio system in every new car is overly bright & harsh - I can't listen for more then 2 minutes without my ears ringing. The Prelude WAS the exception. Radio = harsh = terrible. CarPlay on the other hand ====> WOW ===> incredible sounding music. This is 60% of the reason I bought my Prelude. Good quality warm audio of major importance to me. It's the 1st new car I've seen in 10 years that had a great sounding audio system (even ELS is slightly harsh to me). My Prelude sounded gorgeous before the update. Everybody who heard it commented how much they liked it. PROBLEM: Honda released an audio update last week and I stupidly allowed it to install. Now radio, CarPlay, USB, doesn't matter, every input source, it's 2x brighter and harsher than the base radio was before the update. DO NOT INSTALL THE NEW AUDIO UPDATE. HONDA: IF YOU CAN'T ROLL MY AUDIO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS WHEN I PICKED UP MY CAR, I WANT OUT OF MY LEASE!!! It's THAT bad folks! You've been warned.
