That said, the new Prelude is a runaway sales success in Japan. Honda's sales target for their home market was about 4000 cars per year - but they took well over 2000 orders from Japanese buyers in the first month!

With 110 Honda car dealers in the UK, they need to sell about three or four Preludes per dealer (on average) by the end of 2026. Mine was the first Prelude that my local dealer had sold. I suspect that Honda have done their market research quite carefully, and are more focused on profitability than on high sales volumes.
I love the fact that these cars are going to be quite rare and exclusive...![]()
From what I have seen of American YouTube reviews, it seems the only colour available in the US WAS blue. Personally, Moonlit white pearl with the blue and white interior is the perfect combination (which is what I'm getting).Blue is the best colour. fight me.

I watched a YouTube review of the Prelude from California, and there were like literally 10 blue Preludes in a row that were being tested. I was only joking, but it does seem that the vast majority in the US seem to be Boost blueI've seen a few white ones in the US I believe.

Race driver and team owner, Brian Makse did an excellent and thoughtful video review of a red Prelude. So there's at least one that isn't blue!I think you are right on the percentages. It's also one of the best and most unique colors, so makes sense.
Ours is Arrest Me Red.
In Canada it's Black, White or Red, nothing else.
Thank you for the post, great information!
