Prelude selling prices

I called a few Honda dealers to confirm inventory and prices. I was kind of surprised a few Honda dealers tried asking for ADM. Most are at least $2K off msrp.

Nissan dealers killed the Z by charging huge ADM when the Z first came out. Consumers refused to buy at inflated prices. Consumers lost interest. Nissan had to offer HUGE incentives to move brand new unsold Zs. ’26 Zs are out. There are still brand new unsold ’24-’25 Zs on lots. 6-8 months ago I was offered over $12K off MSRP on a loaded Nismo Z. I could have bought a new Z Sport for $35K at the beginning of the year. A Z Performance was $42K. That $35K Z Sport was a deal when you consider a new BRZ cost $35K.

Hopefully Honda dealers don’t make the same mistake as Nissan dealers. I had a Honda dealer drop the price of a Prelude from $5K over MSRP to $2K under MSRP in less than 5 minutes when I said I was not interested in ADM. That is $7K off asking price in less than 5 minutes. All without me even asking. :ROFLMAO:
