It's getting tedious, not sure how many more times it can be said that a higher powered variant isn't happening. Physics says it can't, economics says is can't, Honda says it can't. It is not happening.

Shockingly (?), Honda knows what they are doing. Claimed a target of 4,000 per year in the US; on a rate of 4,200 per year.

I'm surprised I haven't (at least me) seen more TV commercials focused on the Prelude. Other than the initial ones from a year ago, I think I caught a glimpse of it in a general Honda EV TV ad the other day, but nothing specific about the Prelude.
I guess they don't want to drive a bigger demand for the limited production car.

Yep… all those people who claimed that the preludes weren’t selling clearly had no idea what they were talking about. It does seem that Honda might need to tweak their algorithm for which dealerships get them, though, because dealerships here in SW Ohio are getting very few and they are selling the ones they do get fairly quickly while I have seen posts about dealerships in NV and CA that have more than one on the lot at one time…

The dealer I bought from in Houston had 6 Preludes on the lot. I had to drive 30 miles to it. The dealer in my little suburb had zero or one depending on the day.

The Honda source document shows 'Total Import Car Sales : Honda Division: 818'. I'm guessing this is 422 Preludes and 396 Civic Type Rs - that seems about right.
