Anyone manage to get Android Auto wireless? Appears to be a given that Android Auto has to be wired.
However, just seen a YouTube post by a Brit who managed to press the Home/Back/Volume buttons on the display simultaneously to reach a whole new world of Default Information Settings. In here, he managed to switch Android Auto from wired to Wireless. I've tried pressing all combinations of Home/Back/Volume but cannot get into the parallel universe where I can change the settings.
Anyone managed this?
Anyone managed to get Wireless by any other route?
(I've tried a Carlinkit Mini Ultra jobby, but this didn't work either)

Yeah that video isn't great in that you can't really see what he's actually pressing. This video is for the same system and shows you how to get to those menus, should work.

Yes, got Android Auto working wirelessly on my new Prelude on day one!
:). It also works wirelessly on my 2020 Honda e - but not on the 2019 CR-V hybrid.. I still don't understand why Honda created the software for wireless Android Auto, but then chose not to implement it... 🤔

Licensing costs in different markets. They have to pay Google for every car they sell with wireless Android Auto enabled. I think they just assume certain places mostly use iPhones so skip it to save a few pennies.
