🔧 Build Thread 2026 Prelude - VTEC Academy

There guys are planning to modify their Prelude and promise a number of videos. Here is their first look at the Prelude. They are not particularly knowledgeable nor positive but we'll see.



The leader of VTEC Academy participated in the 'SEMA Build by Throtl'

They took their Prelude to a dyno where the dyno operators actually knew something about measuring a hybrid's output. (Unlike other dyno videos performed by fools.) They report the wheel horsepower ("160, consistent w/ other 200 hp cars") but didn't report the torque.

On the track, they lament the lack of power and praise the great handling: "It is a Type R on the brakes and in the corners and a Prius on the straights"
