Looks like mine will be a 76 plate. The good thing is, despite the delay, the dealer has said my PX price will be honoured.

Wow! Finally, a North American balanced, dare I say it, favourable review.

I watched this tonight after a few drinks to celebrate England's World Cup win, and thought you would all like to see someone finally from across the pond who actually gets this car,

What's your biggest gripe with the prelude?

How easy would it be to maybe remove the Prelude script as a whole and spray it or dip it the colour of your choice to really individualise yours?

And me, I think they were a bit optimistic with my delivery date, probably deliberately; I reckon mine is on the same boat as yours, lol.

That's a BIG difference. What I like most is the pickup from, say, 20 to 50; it really flies (I have the Civic until next week). This is what makes them such enjoyable cars in day to day driving.

    37MPG TOPS

That surprised me. I got the impression from testers that the Prelude was heavier. Another thing: the official 0 to60 for the Civic is faster than the Prelude. Again, I have no idea why that would be if the Prelude is indeed lighter; the time for the Advance is 8.1 and for the Prelude 8.2...

    37MPG TOPS

I have no idea why the Prelude is 1.5mpg worse than the Civic, (my current car) but looking at your figures it seems that's not the case after all, I would have thought that with the Prelude being even more aerodynamic it probably is better on the motorway, which makes up for the extra weight of...

    US Tariff Impact on MSRP??

There really isn't much difference in price here in the UK between the top Civic Advance and the Prelude. It's a couple of thousand pounds; that's the problem. In the US, the Civic is made there, so it has no tariffs, hence the large difference in price between the Prelude and the Civic, which I...

    Just ordered one...

I watched a YouTube review of the Prelude from California, and there were like literally 10 blue Preludes in a row that were being tested. I was only joking, but it does seem that the vast majority in the US seem to be Boost blue

    Just ordered one...

From what I have seen of American YouTube reviews, it seems the only colour available in the US WAS blue. Personally, Moonlit white pearl with the blue and white interior is the perfect combination (which is what I'm getting).

The 2026 Honda Prelude is NOT slow, just misunderstood.

I have to ask, what the hell is that a picture of in your avatar?

The 2026 Honda Prelude is NOT slow, just misunderstood.

It would have been nice for a panoramic roof, but I can count on the fingers of one hand when on a drive in my current car I have had the sunroof open, as once over 30mph it becomes too noisy.

The 2026 Honda Prelude is NOT slow, just misunderstood.

I have basically given up on reading N American YouTube reviews as they are nearly all negative, though there are a few notable exceptions.

The 2026 Honda Prelude is NOT slow, just misunderstood.

I have had many hot hatches, including an I30N, when I test drove the Prelude I was amazed how fast it felt, and yes in the real world the Prelude is a pretty quick car, I watched a vid on YouTube where they raced a Type R and a prelude over the 8th and quarter mile, yes the Type R beat the...

What's your biggest gripe with the prelude?

Doesn't the car come with its own Sat nav? And does that mean that if you're not using maps, you could use the USB-C port to listen to music? I use my USB port in my Civic to listen to music
