It's great to finally see some confirmation from Honda that this thing will come to the US. I wasn't so sure for a while and was worried. So glad that they made the announcement.

I'm so stoked! In 1999, I wanted a Prelude SH so bad I could hardly stand it. I knew every statistic about the car and researched it day and night. I didn't have the means to afford one back then, but now I can finally achieve that dream.

What motor was in that, was it a 2.2? 2.0? I can't remember.... I think it was pretty much the biggest motor you could get in a Honda car though wasn't it? Although in the Civic I think everyone wanted the 1.6?

That generation Prelude has the 2.2L with an 8,000 rpm redline.

I had a 1992 Silver Honda Prelude. It was a fun car! Can't wait to see what the new generation is all about.
