Glad to find this small community to share about the new Prelude.

Bought mine sight unseen from the only dealer in my area not charging a markup. They had the color combo I was interested in and the 2.5 hour drive was worth the trip. Loving the handling, and the HP is perfectly adequate for backroad fun without getting into trouble. My daily driver is a 2023 Ford Bronco so the is my fun car. It make me smile every time I drive it.

Now for the

I really do like the Boost Blue color, but I was afraid that I might not like it as much several years down the road. My 1999 Gen5 Prelude was black, and although red was my first color choice, the one (and still only) one my long time dealer here was getting was black (and none of the other dealers within a 2 hour drive had a red one coming, either)… so it was another black Prelude for me! (I’m kind of bummed that the script “Prelude” on the back of the car is so hard to see on the black ones.) Enjoy that bright blue head turner!

Thanks CiceroGirl! That black Prelude looks wicked. Love the triple black but my daily is black and I've had several black on black over the years including a 2013 Civic SI. I like the blacked out Prelude script. Makes yours look stealthy. Keep em guessing what it is when you blow by them. 😛 The back end looks kinda like a Porsche. The script sets it apart from other Honda models. In fact one of the few accessories Honda offers for the Prelude is a blackout kit for the Honda name on the back and blacked out front emblem.

Thanks for the “stealth” perspective! Maybe that will help me be less disappointed that it is hard to see. With the window tinted (something the dealer did on their own, even though they KNEW I was interested in the car before it even arrived…), it does actually add to the “stealth” factor I guess! 😆

I've had some dark windows in my life... it gets to the point where at night you just roll the windows down when you are turning. It almost becomes habit/second nature.
